Our goal is to produce high quality puppies that are genetically sound, intelligent, and have a wonderful temperament.  We select sires that will compliment the strengths and weaknesses of our females.

Our breedings emphasize field trial backgrounds with proven performers.  We strive to produce puppies that have a burning desire to retrieve but aren’t so hyper that they can’t be a valuable member of your family.  You can control an enthusiastic puppy with proper training but you can’t create desire. 

Each of the parents have been OFA certified (hips) and CERF cleared (eyes).  All puppies come with a written hip and eye guarantee against these genetic defects.  Please read the Purchase Agreement/Health Guarantee for specific details.  Deposits are required to insure a choice of the puppies.  We do our best to monitor the personalities of our puppies and share the traits with the prospective new owners in the selection process.
 

Our puppies are born in a warm and controlled environment.  Their dew claws are removed and the puppies are  examined by our local veterinarian within the first few days of their life. The puppies are then wormed twice, receive their first set of shots,  and are examined by the veterinarian at least two more times before going home to their new owners.

We are firm believers in the benefits of lots of socialization.  In addition to multiple sessions per day with the puppies by our family members, we encourage friends and prospective buyers to also interact with the puppies. Our puppies are introduced to shipping crates, bird wings, and retrieving dummies. Most puppies are actively retrieving before they go to their new homes.

We believe in feeding high quality puppy food and the puppies are weaned by five weeks of age.  Puppy buyers are provided a “puppy packet” that includes Purina Pro Plan puppy food and information provided by Purina on the proper care of a new puppy.
