This agreement is made between Greg Johnson (Breeder), hereafter referred to as Seller, and ____________________, hereafter referred to as the Buyer.

In consideration of a purchase price of $1,800.00 the Seller transfers all rights, privileges and responsibilities associated with the ownership of the male/female puppy as of the date specified below.  All paperwork necessary for a full registration with the American Kennel Club is included in the purchase price.  A deposit of $500.00 is required to secure a puppy with the balance due when the puppy is delivered to the Buyer.  The Buyer understands that once the deposit is made, it is a commitment to buy said dog and is therefore NON-REFUNDABLE.  Buyer will forfeit deposit and said dog may be re-sold if not paid in full by specified date being December 14, 2024.

It is impossible to state that a puppy will be completely free of genetic imperfections.  The sire and the dam have OFA ratings of good & excellent, eye CERF, CNM and EIC ratings of clear; consequently we feel we are reducing the risk of producing a defective a puppy or litter.  As a result, we guarantee the puppy you purchase from us is free of all genetic diseases of the hips and eyes to the best of our knowledge.

The new Buyer may qualify for a replacement (pup of equal value) or a refund of the original purchase price if before the age of 26 months: the puppy develops hip dysphasia as evaluated by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals or Progressive Retinal Atrophy, as certified by a board certified canine ophthalmologist. 

We do not guarantee the reproduction or breedability of any puppy sold.

The buyer has several responsibilities for the terms of this guarantee to remain effective:
- A copy of the findings from OFA or CERF must be sent to us for our records.
- The dog must not have been bred prior to this claim.
- The original purchaser must still own the dog.
- A letter from your vet indicating the dog has been neutered or spayed. 

All puppies will be socialized; dewclaws removed, received their first shots, and have been wormed.  We would recommend you taking your puppy to your veterinarian for general review within one week of purchase to discuss their future needs.
