Greg:
A successful hunt for Bubba and Jade.
I'm sure you
remember this day, (Jade's Birthday) from last year, very vividly. I just
wanted you to know how pleased Allison & I are of Jade. From her nose,
to her trainability, to her personality, to her looks/conformation, she
is all we could have hoped for and more when we decided to get a family/hunting
dog about a year ago.
She has progressed
very well this hunting season and to know that she is only going to get
better with experience, makes me very excited already for next season.
So, thanks for producing an excellent dog and I hope in several years when
we decide to get a second Labrador, you'll have puppies available.
Best Regards,
John Dirksen
ps: Attached
is a photo from Thanksgiving weekend when Jade experienced her first Iowa
wild rooster. At 10 1/2 months, she got me these five roosters and two
quail when I went hunting with my brother for a couple of hours. One rooster
got away but that was when I felt bad and decided to let my little brother
shoot.
Thanks for producing
some great pups. Trixie (Outlaw’s Ebonstar a Go-Go) our 8-week old
puppy has been having a bunch of fun beating up my 12 year old BLM and
has had a blast exploring the world (backyard). I had her out to
club training last Sunday and she had a good time, marked a 50 yard bird
and jumped right out of my arms to go get it.

Cowboy Joe is
“as good a dog as I’ve ever had” and is lying at my feet (in the house)
as we talk. He is a quick learner with a very tender mouth.
His statistics for his first year in 2007 as an 11-month old puppy was
95 rooster pheasants, 35 partridge, and 20 grouse. We’ve harvested
47 rooster pheasants so far this year (November 2008).
